⁣Step 1: Section hair and curl in sections.
Step 2: Before actually curling the hair use the curling iron to pre-heat the hair strand by running the curling tong 1-2 times along the whole hair strand.

Step 3: Then curl the hair strand with a 25mm to 38mm curling iron from roots to tips.

Step 4: It is important to hold the curling iron directly at the root for few seconds to add lasting volume.
